Volatile and non volatile memory or storage device

 Define volatile memory (RAM)

RAM ( Random Access Memory: Ram is a volatile memory is present in the motherboard.

 It stores the data till computer is turn on.when computer will turn off ram removes the data from it. 





Define non volatile memory : ROM (Read only memory).

ROM is a non volatile memory that stores the data permanently

For example. Boot setting is stored in ROM etc.



 Storage devices or non volatile memories are CD, DVD, fDD (Floppy Disk Drive)
